XenMARK

Xenopus Image Annotator
and
Searchable Database of Gene Expression Patterns

How to get your images added to the database

We are interested in adding any published or unpublished images showing clear gene expression localisation in Xenopus embryos, or adult tissues.

Small groups of images (ten or fewer) may simply be e-mailed to us at: mike.gilchrist@crick.ac.uk .

For larger groups please send an email with a brief description of the images, and we will work out how best to transfer the images.

For each image we require a small amount of information, typically:

  • originating laboratory
  • species
  • image filename
  • sequence ID or accession that the probe was designed from
  • embryo stage or adult tissue
  • view or section
  • any other useful data, like gene name, etc.
